Job summary

Aquinas Church of England Education Trust invites applications for a SEND Practitioner-SLCN to support students with additional needs across key stages 3 and 4. Working with the SENCo, you will help embed inclusive practices and facilitate access to learning within the College Community.

This role focuses on developing Speech, Language and Communication needs across the school, while also supporting other vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting students with SEND and speech-language communication needs.
  • Ability to collaborate with SENCo and teaching staff to implement inclusive strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEND and SLCN across KS3-4.
  • Contribute to developing SLCN provision and inclusive practices within the school.
  • Support vulnerable learners and contribute to all SEND areas.

Job description

An exciting new role has been created to support the ongoing development of our inclusive practise and provision. We are looking for a skilled individual who has a passion for supporting students with additional needs and SEND.

The SEND Practitioner- SLCN will work with the SENCo to support children with Special Educational Needs & Difficulties across key stages 3 and 4 and within the College Community. This post is specifically to support the development of SLCN across the school, although will also contribute to all areas of SEND. The role will also include the support of other vulnerable learners within our community.
