Special Needs Practitioners

• Start date: 1st September 2025
• Location: Leeds (Central)
• School: Specialist SEND school
• Salary: 19,500 - 21,500 (actual take home)
• Holiday: 13 weeks of annual leave per annum
• Role: SEN Teaching Assistant / Practitioner
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm daily (Monday - Friday)

We are currently working with a large Special Needs school in Central Leeds who are looking for a multiple SEN Teaching Assistants who are available for full-time / permanent positions starting in the new academic year from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children who live with Special Educational Needs in a fulfilling role and support children in small classes on a daily basis who live with: Autism, ADHD, Global Delay, Speech, Language and Communication needs.

The role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be to:

• Support pupils in the classroom on a daily basis
• Support children with their activities and daily tasks
• Support the students with personal care (If required)
• Ensure the safety of children is held to the highest standard
• Safeguard all pupils
• Support children on a 1:1 basis both inside and outside of the classroom

In order to be to shortlisted for this role candidates must:

• Be available full-time from September 2025
• Have experience / knowledge of SEN and a passion to work with children with Special Educational Needs
• Have a valid DBS certificate that is on the update service
