Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council seeks a proactive SEND Parent Navigator to provide information, guidance and practical support to parent carers across the area. The role focuses on helping families access services and attend school with the right support.

The post is fixed-term, full-time (37 hours per week) with a salary of £28,153 to £29,071. The working location is Inspire 2 Learn, with hybrid working and a benefits package including LGPS, generous leave and flexible hours.

Do you want to make a real difference to children and young people with SEND and their families?

We are looking for a proactive and compassionate SEND Parent Navigator to provide information, guidance and practical support to parent carers across Redcar & Cleveland.

Working alongside families, schools and partner agencies, you will help parents navigate services, build positive relationships and access the support they need to enable them to attend school and receive the right support.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience of working with families, and a commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
