Specialist SEND Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate SEND Personal Assistant to support a young girl in her family home. The role focuses on 2:1 support, safety, engagement and well‑being, with guidance from the family and wider team.
Hours are up to 20 per week on a part‑time basis with shifts on Tue/Wed/Fri 3:00–6:00pm and Sat 10:00am–4:00pm, Sun 10:00am–4:00pm. You do not need to cover every shift and flexible availability is welcomed.
£13.50 – £15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
Location: Young person’s family home
Contract: Part-time / Flexible Shift Work
We are looking for a caring, reliable and committed SEND Personal Assistant (PA) to support a young girl within her family home. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who has experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or complex needs and, most importantly, has a genuine passion for making a positive difference in a young person’s life.
You do not need to commit to every shift. We are happy to consider candidates who can offer regular availability across some of the above days and hours.
As a SEND Personal Assistant, you will provide consistent, person-centred support within the young person’s home. Your role will focus on helping her feel safe, comfortable, engaged and supported while working closely with her family and wider support team.
Our young person has complex medical needs, meaning infection prevention and control is an extremely important part of this role. We are therefore looking for candidates who understand that even relatively minor illnesses or exposure to infection can present a significant risk to a medically vulnerable young person.
Full guidance around the young person’s individual needs and infection‑control procedures will be provided.
We are particularly interested in finding people who are looking for a meaningful role where they can become a consistent and trusted part of a young person’s support network.
If you are compassionate, dependable and passionate about helping young people with SEND feel safe, valued and supported within their own home, we would love to hear from you.
