Job summary

Hamilton School in Reading is seeking a SEND Manager to coordinate SEND provision across the school. You will lead administrative processes, manage annual reviews and EHCP activities, and maintain records and provision mapping to support students with additional needs.

You will liaise with families, local authorities and external agencies, monitor attendance and progress, and contribute to quality assurance and staff training. The role includes line management of up to four Teaching Assistants.

Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Hamilton School is seeking a highly organised, proactive and committed SEND Manager to play a key role in supporting the delivery of effective SEND provision across our school.

Working closely with the SENCO and wider school team, you will coordinate a wide range of SEND processes, including annual reviews, Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) administration, external agency liaison, alternative provision coordination, student support and SEND compliance activities. You will help ensure that students with SEND receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

About The Role
