A leading educational institution is seeking a passionate Functional Skills Maths teacher to join their Lifeskills faculty at Reading College. The role involves delivering tailored maths programs to learners with special educational needs, nurturing their skills and confidence as they prepare for adulthood. About the role: SEND / LLDD Functional Skills Maths Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring Functional Skills Maths teacher to join our Lifeskills faculty at Reading College. Our team supports learners who face barriers to education, including young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
In this role you willspend most of your timetable delivering Functional Skills Maths (Pre-Entry to GCSE) across two key programmes:
Both programmes include English and Maths, so you will also contribute to wider Lifeskills sessions when required.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive, committed to helping learners build confidence, independence and the skills they need for adulthood.
The post is permanent, full-time and based at our Reading College campus.
