Job description

SEND Lecturer – 37 hours per week 8:30am – 5pm. Employed for 52 weeks per year – up to £38,186.75 depending on experience and qualifications.

About the role

As SEND Lecturer, a key part of this role will be providing learning opportunities for learners to become skilled in communication, employability and life skills. Your key duties will include:

• Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
• Assess, review and record learner progress
• Maintain course and learner records
• Support learners with progression, employability and independence

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher – with proven experience of teaching young adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and emotional/behavioural difficulties
• Teaching qualifications
• Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and creativity
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT
