Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a SEND Lecturer to support learners aged 14 to 19 at a further education college's Horizons provision. You will design lessons that recognise strengths and help learners take their next steps.

The role is 28.8 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, onsite, with a timetable 8:30am–5pm. A PGCE/QTS or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and recent SEND teaching experience are required. DBS Update Service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching SEND learners in FE settings.
• Experience supporting learners aged 14–19 with challenging behaviour.
• Recent Functional Skills English or Maths teaching and assessment experience.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (registered).

The timetable

Your 28.8-hour week includes

18.4 teaching hours and 10.4 non teaching hours. Onsite attendance is listed as Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5pm, with the exact timetable to be confirmed.
