SEND Learning Support Practitioner - WF7
Location: WF7, West Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: 95- 110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a compassionate and resilient individual with a passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in the WF7 area that is seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive educational environment, working closely with pupils who require additional support to thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs

  • Support pupils in accessing learning across the curriculum

  • Implement tailored learning strategies in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO

  • Monitor and track student progress, helping to adapt support as required

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in school or alternative settings)

  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced Child DBS (or be willing to apply for one through Prospero Teaching)
