SEND Learning Support Assistant

Location: Exeter EX4

Type of school: SEND KS2-4

Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm

We are urgently seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in Exeter.

This role requires the successful candidate to have a UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, providing personalised support.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop support plans.
  3. Foster a nurturing environment that enhances social interactions and communication skills.
  4. Assist with daily tasks and academic activities, implementing interventions to address behavioural challenges and promote positive outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills for clear interactions.
  • Applicants with a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle will be prioritized.
