Vetro Recruitment is assisting a primary school in Wirral to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with special educational needs.

Job Description: Our client, a primary school within the Wirral area is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a child with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nurturing learning environment and to help children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting a child with special educational needs through personalised learning activities.
• Assisting the teacher in delivering educational programmes tailored to the child's needs.
• Participating in day-to-day learning activities to promote engagement and development.
• Building effective relationships with children, parents, and external professionals to support the child's progress.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• An enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
• Experience working in a primary school or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A full UK DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
