An established industry player in the education sector is seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated SEND school in Barnet. This role is vital in supporting children aged 4 to 19 with various special educational needs, including Autism and ADHD. We are currently working with an excellent SEND school in Barnet, who are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school as soon as possible. The school supports children and young people from the ages of 4 to 19.
The Role
You will be working with children aged between 4 and 19, all with Special Education Needs. Most of the children you will be working with have limited communication skills, Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and some are completely non-verbal.
You will be assisting more than one class, supporting several children across the school, rather than working 1:1 with any particular child.
Over the course of the academic year, you will support the pupils in engaging and achieving their potential.

They work with their students on all aspects of their development to help them reach their potential.
