Job Opportunity: 1-1 Education Tutor in Torbay/South Hams

Axcis is offering a unique and exciting role in a SEND setting working with young people aged 9-16 years. These students may have learning difficulties, complex needs, Autism, or Social, Emotional, Mental Health challenges. Alternatively, they may be students who have struggled academically and are working below age-related expectations.

Key Details:

1. Location: Various community-based locations within Torbay/South Hams.
2. Requirements: Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
3. Start date: Immediately or as soon as possible.
4. Role: 1-1 Education Tutor, delivering targeted Mathematics and English interventions to help students catch up academically and reintegrate into mainstream schools.
5. Safeguarding and risk assessments are essential parts of the role.
6. Ideal candidates: Those with a background in education, support work, or enabling, understanding young people's vulnerabilities.
7. Work hours: 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, full-time, permanent position.
8. Pay rate: £95 - £115 per day.
9. Expenses: Covered once at work.
