SEND Lead Practitioner for Medical, Physical and Emotional Health - The 1590 Trust, Stockton-on-Tees

Job Details:
  • Location: Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom
  • Salary: £23,615 - £24,856 (Pay Award Pending)
  • Contract: Grade H (SCP 14-17), Term time only + 5 days, 37 hours/week
  • Closing Date: Monday 14 July 2024, 5:00 p.m.
  • Interview Date: Thursday 18 July 2024
Job Description:

The successful applicant will support students with Cognition & Learning needs, managing medical and physical needs, implementing work programmes, and supporting emotional health needs. Responsibilities include managing medicines and care plans, working with students with additional needs, and collaborating with staff to provide effective support.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Passion for supporting students with learning difficulties
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective liaison
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Dependability, initiative, and a professional, nurturing approach
  • Flexibility and teamwork skills
  • Ability to establish positive relationships and deliver bespoke interventions
