Quantum Scholars are recruiting an experienced SEND Independence Mentor to support three boys in Wokingham who attend Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision from September.
The role focuses on 1:1 mentoring to boost confidence, independence and essential life skills, helping pupils achieve positive outcomes in education and daily life.
Quantum Scholars are currently recruiting for an experienced and compassionate SEND Independence Mentor to provide 1:1 support/mentoring for three young boys in Wokingham who are accessing Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs who require personalised support outside of a mainstream educational setting. You will play a key role in helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and essential life skills, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes both now and in the future.
As a SEND Independence Mentor, you will deliver engaging and meaningful sessions tailored to each pupil's individual needs. Your focus will be on supporting their social, emotional and personal development, encouraging independence, and helping them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive both in education and everyday life.
This is a part-time position offering 11 hours of support per week. The provision is expected to run throughout the full academic year from September, with the potential to continue beyond this period.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
