Location: Swindon

Pay: £100 - £175 per day

Type:fixed-term contract

Dates: 22/04/2025 - 22/07/2025

Elementa are recruiting for an experienced SEND HLTA to work at this special school setting for children aged 3 - 11, that have Multiple Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs. All of the children at this school are in the Primary age phase and have an EHCP for their condition.

The school are seeking an HLTA with relevant SEND experience of having worked extensively with children that have MLD and other complex needs. At this school the class sizes vary from 10 - 12 children and there are usually 5 adults supporting teaching and learning in the classroom.The Schoolhave a broad curriculum offering to support the varied needs of each child and includes outdoor learning as part of their curriculum. The school enjoys modern school buildings and a positive colleague culture which leads to a highly collaborative staffteam.This role is to provide support across KS1 & KS2 classes and also offer support for PPA release time.

Ofsted have long graded this school 'Good' and the school are working hard to continue to enhance their offering for the future. The school is also part of a large, well-managed trust and are therefore well-resourced.

Essential applicant criteria:

  • available full-time
  • previous UK educationexperience
  • have good previous experience of supporting learners with Autism
  • be based in the UK and available to interview in person
  • Have RTW in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship

Contract & recruitment information

Elementa is the recruiting partner therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening (and appointment for the role) will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting & background checks and application for aDBS Enhanced Disclosure (which may be chargeable at £62.70)unless you have a current DBS Enhanced Disclosuresubscribed to theupdate service.
