SEND Cover Supervisor - PRU, SEMH

Type: Permanent (via trial contract)

Start: ASAP

Location: Swindon

Pay: £100 - 140 per day during trial contract

Elementa is recruiting an experienced SEND Cover Supervisor to work at a special school & PRU in Swindon. The school provides education for learners with ASD/ASC (Autism), SEMH, and other complex needs, including children who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools. Many students display challenging behaviors.

This environment presents its challenges but is highly rewarding. The school maintains high expectations and offers a supportive, nurturing environment. The headteacher promotes outstanding opportunities for learners and fosters a positive, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for staff.

Applicants with Team Teach or other positive behavior management training may have an advantage; however, free training will be provided. The school operates transparently and collaboratively, encouraging staff input to enhance the environment and student opportunities. It’s a positive place for both staff and students.
