We’re looking for experienced SEND Cover Supervisors in Sheffield to work flexibly across specialist settings—including PMLD, SLD, ASC and SEMH provisions.

This is ideal for someone who’s led lessons before, understands the unique challenges of SEND environments, and wants the freedom to choose when and where they work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Stepping in to lead lessons in SEND classrooms when teachers are absent

• Managing behaviour, following plans, and supporting pupils’ individual needs

• Creating calm, consistent learning environments

• Working across a range of settings, from specialist autism units to SEMH and PMLD schools

• Experienced cover supervisors, instructors or unqualified teachers with SEND experience

• HLTA-level staff confident in leading classrooms
