Job Title: SEND Class Teacher (SEN allowance), ASD Diamonds Hub Lead with SENCO (TLR)

Working Hours: 27.5 hours (Monday - Friday)

The Role

The Diamonds ASD Hub is an integral part of Moorgate Primary School. We are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Class Teacher, Diamonds Hub Lead, and whole school SENDCO who has knowledge and understanding of working with children with special needs and their families. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be resilient, and have good time management. They should be able to cope with pressure and relate well to children on the ASD Spectrum within the Diamonds Hub.

The post is busy and demanding, requiring a highly motivated and organized individual with a calm and pleasant approach. The candidate should be able to undertake a wide range of duties, from basic to complex, work well as part of a team, and have a good sense of humour.

The responsibilities include being responsible for the welfare and education of pupils aged 2-11 years, sharing in the ethos and vision of the school, and adhering to its policies and practices.
