Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a SEND and Inclusion Lecturer to join a Further Education college in Peterborough this September.

You'll deliver high quality teaching to learners with a range of additional learning needs, collaborating with support staff and college teams to help learners develop confidence, independence and essential life skills, including EHCP outcomes and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching learners with SEND and disabilities.
• Qualified teaching certificate such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for inclusive education.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of individual learners

• Monitoring learner progress and recognising achievements
• Working collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, parents, carers and external professionals

• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to learner reviews and assessments

The Opportunity

As a SEND and Inclusion Lecturer, you'll deliver high quality teaching to learners with a range of additional learning needs, including learning difficulties, autism, SEMH needs and other SEND requirements.

You'll create a welcoming and engaging learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and encouraged to achieve their personal and academic goals. Working closely with support staff and wider college teams, you'll help learners develop confidence, independence and important life skills.

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching learners with SEND, learning difficulties or disabilities
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive and learner focused approach
• Passion for inclusive education and supporting learner success
• Ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
• Experience within Further Education or Supported Learning settings is highly desirable
