Daily Rate: GBP105–GBP115 (depending on experience)

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a Liverpool primary school.

The Role

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEND).
• Assist with academic, social, and emotional development in line with EYFS curriculum.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to provide tailored support.
• Use strategies to promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in EYFS/Primary settings.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and child-centred learning.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable to individual needs.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Professional references covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Relevant experience in a SEND or EYFS setting.
