Job Description

The governors of this successful school are looking to appoint an LSA with SEND experience to join their dedicated team. The role involves working with pupils with identified SEND needs on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, resilient, and possess excellent communication skills. They should be self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of a trauma-informed approach is desirable.

A good standard of education is required, including 5 GCSEs or equivalent, with English and Maths at grade 4 or above.

Visits to the school are encouraged and welcomed.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are required to share this commitment. The appointment is subject to pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
