Your Role as SENCO:

  • Lead and manage the SEN department, ensuring high-quality provision for all students with additional needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.

  • Provide training and guidance to teaching staff to ensure inclusive classroom practices.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and local authorities to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEN support, making data-driven decisions to improve provision.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified SENCO with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to obtain it).
  • Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs, particularly in an SEN or mainstream setting.
  • A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and best practices for inclusive education.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
