An inclusive secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCo to join their dedicated team from September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual who is committed to providing high-quality support for students with special educational needs (SEN) and promoting inclusive education throughout the school. You will play a pivotal role in leading the SEN department, ensuring all students with additional needs are supported to achieve their full potential.

Role Highlights:
  • Full-time, permanent position at a well-established secondary school in Redbridge
  • Lead and manage the SEN provision, ensuring it is delivered effectively across the school
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers and support staff to provide tailored interventions

  • Proven experience in a SENCo role or equivalent leadership position within a secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and experience working with a diverse range of special educational needs
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of professionals and drive positive change
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Enhanced DBS check required
