Your Role as SENCO:
• Lead and manage the school’s SEN provision, ensuring that students with additional needs receive the support and resources they require to succeed.
• Develop and implement strategies and interventions to support the diverse needs of students.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the SEN team, working closely with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive practices are embedded across the school.
• Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN, providing regular reports to senior leadership and parents.
• Work with external agencies to provide additional support for students where necessary.
Who We’re Looking For:
• A qualified SENCO with experience in leading SEND provision in a secondary school.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team.
• A deep commitment to inclusive education and ensuring all students have access to the support they need.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
