Location: Croydon
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (until July 2025)
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (depending on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate SENCO to join a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Croydon on a fixed-term basis. Your Role as SENCO:
You will lead on the strategic and operational management of SEND provision across the school. Responsibilities will include overseeing EHCP reviews, managing the SEND register, developing and monitoring personalised learning plans, and working closely with staff to ensure high-quality classroom support. You will also liaise regularly with families and external agencies to ensure the needs of each learner are fully understood and met.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from experienced teachers with QTS and previous experience working in or with SEND provision. Holding the NASENCO qualification is preferred, though applications from those currently working toward it will also be considered. You will need excellent communication and leadership skills, strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
