Your Role as SENCO:
  • Lead the school's SEND strategy and oversee all SEND provision

  • Manage and coordinate a team of SEN professionals, including teaching assistants and learning mentors
  • Liaise with external agencies, including Educational Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists

  • A qualified SENCO (or a teacher currently working towards the SENCO qualification)
  • A deep understanding of SEND policies, legislation, and best practices
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team
