A brilliant primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support the delivery of high-quality provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring that every child receives the personalized support they need to thrive.

Role Highlights:
  • Full-time, permanent position at a brilliant primary school in Ealing
  • Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school, ensuring effective strategies are in place to support students with a range of additional needs
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs)
  • Oversee the assessment and monitoring of students with SEN, ensuring progress is tracked and appropriate interventions are in place
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to enhance their understanding of SEN and inclusive teaching practices
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the holistic support of students
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant SEN regulations and frameworks, maintaining a focus on inclusive practice
  • Lead and support staff in the creation of an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and able to succeed
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working as a SENCO, ideally in a primary school setting
  • A deep understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant statutory requirements
  • Proven ability to lead and manage SEN provision, with a strong commitment to inclusive education
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting students with diverse needs
  • Enhanced DBS check required
