About the Role: SENCo - Primary

Are you a passionate and visionary leader with a strong commitment to inclusive education? Do you have the strategic insight and ambition to lead outstanding SEND provision across a forward-thinking and diverse primary school?

A Primary School, part of a Multi-Academy trust, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher/Strategic SENCo to join their Senior Leadership Team from September 2025.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will:

  1. Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school;
  2. Champion inclusive practice and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice;
  3. Oversee the SEND register and ensure effective support for pupils with EHCPs and additional needs;
  4. Drive school improvement through collaboration, innovation, and data-informed decisions;
  5. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals;
  6. Play an active role in shaping whole-school strategy and leadership priorities.

About You

  • Holds QTS and preferably London-based classroom experience
  • Has experience across various leadership and/or teaching roles
  • Has a strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND;
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Is deeply committed to inclusion, equity, and raising aspirations for all;
  • Brings energy, resilience, and a collaborative spirit to school leadership;
  • Understands the importance of early intervention and adaptive teaching.
