Situated in the heart of Wallingford, our welcoming school is seeking a dedicated professional to take on the vital role of SENCO for four days a week, starting in September 2025.

As SENCO, you will play a key leadership role in shaping provision for pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they have the best possible support and opportunities to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on the strategic development of SEND provision across the school.
* Work alongside teachers to ensure inclusive, high-quality teaching in every classroom.
* Coordinate assessments, support plans, interventions, and EHCP processes.
* Build strong partnerships with families and external agencies.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on SEND progress and provision.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is currently working towards it).
* Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent teaching experience in a primary setting.
* Understands the SEND Code of Practice and how it translates into effective school support.
* Can build strong relationships with pupils, families, staff, and professionals.
* Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
