The school is situated in South Birmingham (B29) and the staff are friendly and welcoming. This is a temporary position but can be temp to perm. The school is willing to consider candidates who either have a SENCO qualification or have previous experience working as a SENCO.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Maintaining an accurate SEND register and provision map.
  • Ensuring the timely and efficient administration of EHCP and SSPP applications.
  • Analyzing assessment data for SEND pupils.
  • Implementing and leading intervention groups for SEND pupils and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Determining the strategic development of SEND policy and provision in the school.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and coordinating support for individual SEND pupils.
  • Providing professional guidance to colleagues and working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
