Job description

£11.25 per hour, full & part time posts available, 28 days holiday, childcare vouchers, career development and training plan, pension scheme.

SENAD Community provides high quality support for people of all ages who may have a disability, communication or specialist health needs.

The ‘outstanding’ person-centred support we deliver aims to maximise potential, encourage independence, and help engage our service users in meaningful activities.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, you must be flexible in your availability (both waking nights & sleeps available). We are recruiting for permanent roles: full-time (36 hours/week) and part-time (24 hours/week), with shifts from 19:30 to 07:30.

We are seeking support workers to work with a diverse group of individuals, who may face challenges such as:

  • Acquired brain injuries
  • Mental health needs
  • Learning and/or physical disabilities
  • Autism
  • Drug/Alcohol misuse
  • Forensic backgrounds
  • Homelessness

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible individual with excellent communication skills who shares our passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. We seek someone who shares our vision and ethos and can demonstrate positive values.

It is essential that the person in this role understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality and always showing respect and dignity to those they support.
