Job summary

Young Giants in Princes Risborough, United Kingdom is seeking tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to learners with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH. Sessions occur during the day at a learner’s home or local community venue, following fixed timetables.

You’ll teach Maths and/or English for KS1–KS4, with other subjects based on your specialty, using engaging approaches and building learner confidence. Travel to learner locations required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners.
• Relevant and up-to-date curriculum and subject knowledge.
• Ability to combine mentoring and academics, building trust and supporting each learner on their personal journey.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and willing to complete mandatory training.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain.

The Role

You’ll use your relevant knowledge and experience to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition sessions to our learners with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH.

Sessions will always take place during the day, according to fixed timetables, either in a learner’s home or local community venue.

More specifically, you will:

• Teach Maths and/or English for KS1 / KS2 / KS3 / KS4 , plus additional subjects based on your specialism.

Requirements

About You

We’re looking for passionate tutors with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners
