Job Title: SEN Tutor - Outdoor Education & Physical Education

Location: Copper Fields School, Gunnislake PL18 9EH

Salary: £25,276.26 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday 8.30am-5.00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Tutor to join our close-knit team at Copper Fields School, part of Options Autism.

Purpose of the Role

The Successful Candidate Will Be Required:

• To tutor students in Outdoor Education & Physical Education curriculum
• To continuously enhance the Outdoor Education & Physical Education provision and offer
• To assist the class teachers and support staff in delivering the Outdoor Education & Physical Education Curriculum across the college
• To undertake such duties as are delegated by the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.

The main duties of the Tutor of Outdoor Education & Physical Education include taking the lead on Outdoor Education & Physical Education activities, being the school’s Educational Visits Coordinator (with appropriate training), and encouraging students to re-engage with their learning.
