Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Outreach Tutor to support Lewisham students through one-to-one Maths and English tuition, often in the student’s home or a community setting.

Role involves working with learners from primary age up to GCSE, focusing on confidence, wellbeing and progress. DBS checks are preferred; experience with EHCPs and SEN needs is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring Maths and English to primary to GCSE level.
• Experience working with SEN/SEND learners.
• Ability to tailor sessions to individual needs and EHCP targets.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one Maths and English tuition.
• Supporting learners from primary age through to GCSE.
• Planning engaging and purposeful sessions.
• Adapting teaching to suit SEN needs.
• Keeping simple records of sessions and progress.
