Overview

Job Title: SEN Tutor
Contract Type: Casual
Hourly Pay: 25 - 40 per hour
Location: Kings Lynn
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

The Leader Group is supporting a growing education programme which is part of a leading specialist education provider, in their search for a dedicated SEN Tutor. This role is about making a genuine difference for learners who need extra support to reach their potential and participate in learning. The role involves supporting multiple pupils within the week in various locations across the region. A driving requirement is noted due to travel between locations.

The Role

As a SEN Tutor, you'll:

  • Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
  • Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or in a neutral location such as a community library, or if needed over Microsoft Teams. This is across the Kings Lynn area.
  • Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding advisors to ensure learners' wellbeing and development are fully supported.
About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
  • Brings a compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
