Job summary

Supply Staff Limited is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide personalised tuition in students' homes in the Bournemouth area. The role focuses on supporting learners with SEN and EHCP targets with patient, adaptable teaching methods.

Sessions are mainly during school hours with flexible hours and a commitment of 10 hours per week. Compensation ranges between £25-£40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Experience delivering tuition, teaching, mentoring, or therapeutic support.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and strategies for related needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions in core subjects, adapted to individual learning needs.
• Support students with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia and learning difficulties.
• Work with EHCP targets and recommended strategies while building trust with students and families.
