Job summary

Integra Education is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor in Wrexham to help young people reconnect with learning and progress to GCSE English and Maths. The role offers flexible hours and a September start, with pay up to £30 per hour.

A UK-recognised teaching qualification is desirable. You will plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailor sessions to each pupil’s needs, and provide long-term tutoring support to help break down barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• UK recognised teaching qualification/QTS (desirable)
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Previous SEND or SEMH experience is desirable
• Strong subject knowledge
• Tailor lessons to individual pupil needs
• Tutor English and Maths up to GCSE level
• Fluent Welsh and English language skills are required for this role

For over 15 years, Integra Education has supported students outside mainstream education. Due to rising demand, we're looking for passionate Tutors to join our growing team.

Due to a significant increase in demand, we are receiving a high volume of tuition requests across Wrexham. This presents a fantastic opportunity for dedicated tutors to make a meaningful impact on students who need additional support.

The Tutor role is a long‑term position designed to provide students with consistency and support while actively working to break down barriers to learning.

What are we looking for?

• UK recognised teaching qualification/QTS (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Previous SEND or SEMH experience is desirable
• Strong subject knowledge
• Ability to tailor lessons to individual pupil needs
• Ability to tutor English and Maths up to GCSE level
• Fluent Welsh and English language skills are required for this role
