Job summary

Integra Education is seeking a qualified teacher or experienced tutor to provide 1:1 core subjects tutoring in Southport and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible hours, term-time schedules, and no weekend work, with pay at £25-£30 per hour.

Candidates should have knowledge of Maths and English up to GCSE, the ability to plan engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, and experience supporting SEND/SEMH is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of Maths and English.
• Ability to teach Maths and English up to GCSE level.
• Confidence adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Desirable SEND and/or SEMH experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tutoring across core subjects in Southport and surrounding areas.
• Deliver lessons and track progress to help students reach targets.
• Collaborate with a dedicated consultant and DBS checks completed.

For over 15 years, Integra Education has supported children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education. Due to a significant increase in demand across the Southport area, we're looking for passionate 1:1 Core subjects Tutors to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide consistent, long-term support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

What we're looking for:

• UK recognised Teaching Qualification (Desirable)
• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Strong knowledge of Maths and English
• Ability to teach Maths and English up to GCSE level
• Confidence adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Previous experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH is desirable
