Overview

SEN Tutor

Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practises in SEN education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education

Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a related field

Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills
  • Understanding of different learning styles and how to adapt teaching methods accordingly
