Job summary

A leading educational service provider in the UK is seeking passionate Tutors to provide tailored educational support to young learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will deliver personalized learning sessions, build confidence in students, and collaborate with parents and schools to ensure student success. This role offers flexible hours and the potential for both part-time and full-time positions.

About the Role

You will provide tailored educational support to young people who may have additional needs such as:

  • SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)
  • Trauma
  • At risk of PEX (Permanent Exclusion)

Your role will be rewarding and impactful, helping learners overcome barriers and succeed in their education.

As a Tutor, You Will

Essential & Desirable Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
  • Experience of working with learners with SEN
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must
  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
