Monarch Education is seeking compassionate, resilient and creative individuals to support children and young people on a 1:1 basis through bespoke education and mentoring packages.
Role involves working with children aged 5-16 with SEND/SEMH needs in a community setting, not a traditional classroom. You’ll build trust, deliver English and Maths support, and help learners regain confidence and independence through practical activities.
Do you want a role where success isn’t measured by test scores alone?
Are you the kind of person who understands that trust comes before learning?
Can you build positive relationships with children and young people who may have been let down by education, struggled to access school, or simply need the right person in their corner?
At Monarch Education, we are looking for compassionate, resilient and creative individuals to support children and young people on a 1:1 basis through bespoke education and mentoring packages.
Many of the learners we support have been out of education for weeks, months or sometimes longer. They haven’t stopped being capable, they’ve simply been waiting for the right support, delivered in the right way, by the right person.
This is a community-based position rather than a traditional classroom environment.
You’ll work with children and young people aged 5-16 years who may have:
Some learners may require 2:1 or 3:1 support depending on their needs.
No two days will look the same.
You could be:
Progress isn’t always measured by academic outcomes.
Sometimes success is:
These moments matter, and they’re often the foundation for everything that comes next.
This is a genuinely child-centred role where relationships come first.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference to young people’s lives by helping them reconnect with learning, develop confidence, increase independence and access opportunities they may have previously felt were out of reach.
If you’re looking for a role where every small breakthrough matters, we’d love to hear from you.
