Job summary

Aspire People seeks experienced SEN Tutors in London to support vulnerable young learners. Qualifications

SEN Tutor

Location: London

Rate: £25 - £30 per hour

Availability: Full-time & Part-time positions available

Aspire People are currently recruiting Tutors to support the learning and development of children requiring home tutoring. We are dedicated to closing the attainment gap for children outside of formal schooling.

We work with a diverse range of Looked After Children in care, who have various needs. Tutors provide learning assistance for young people preparing for exams or re-adjusting to mainstream education.

We are seeking tutors for both home tuition and school-based support, focusing primarily on core skills in English, Maths, Science, and behavior management.

Skills and Experience:

• Teachers for all subjects required, with a focus on English, Maths & Science (QTS not necessary)
• Understanding of working with vulnerable young people in the care system and those with SEN
• Knowledge of positive behaviour strategies and helping children self-regulate emotions
• Valid Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills
• Reliable and excellent timekeeping
