About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors to join our team, working in partnership with local authorities and schools across Swindon.

You will support students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia. Your role will involve assessing individual needs, planning and delivering tailored tuition sessions, and helping every learner reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to provide high-quality, personalised tuition
  • Assess students’ strengths and areas for development
  • Develop and implement individual learning plans
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons, adapting to a range of SEN needs
  • Liaise with local authorities, schools, and families to ensure coordinated support
  • Track and report on student progress
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching/tutoring
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia)
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and approaches
  • Ability to assess, plan, and tailor tuition to individual needs
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
