Overview

Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Chalfonts & surrounding areas
Pay: £20-£30 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Assess learning requirements and plan structured, personalised schemes of work.
  • Create engaging lessons that support academic progress, confidence and independence.
  • Record and track progress, providing clear feedback to families and professionals.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a variety of learning styles and needs.
Person Specification / Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years\' tutoring experience.
  • Experience supporting learners with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and dyslexia.
  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • Patient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships with students.
  • Flexible, reliable and professional.
