Bright Heart Education seeks a tutor to support a young man with learning difficulties and delayed speech and communication difficulties, needing literacy and functional maths support. The tutor needs Makaton experience. Tuition would be Mon-Fri, 10 a.m - 1 p.m. Turn-taking and games would be used to improve communication. There is a preference for tutors with a QTS.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments (we can apply on behalf of a candidate if not currently held). Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference. Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.
