SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £80 - £95 per day
Start Date: Immediate

Working with teachers and assisting kids in realising their potential will be your primary responsibility as a member of our team.

Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and stimulating lessons that spark student curiosity.
• Provide personalised support to students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and can thrive.
• Access ongoing mentorship and professional development to enhance your teaching skills and advance your career in education.

Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant:

• A solid understanding of educational principles and best practices.
• Desired experience with Autism and SEMH.
• Demonstrated patience and a caring approach when working with students.
• Enjoy working collaboratively and building strong relationships with colleagues.
• Prior experience is welcome, but a love for learning and a commitment to student growth are essential.
• Candidates with a driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred.

• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
