SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Exeter, Devon

Location: Exeter
Employer: Teaching Personnel
Contract Type: Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £90.00 - £100.00 per day

We are recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistantto work with our partner school in Exeter. This full-time position offers the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. If you're passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment, this opportunity is for you.

Essential Requirements:

  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to travel requirements).
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).
  • A passion for helping young people with SEN reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both one-on-one and in groups, to aid their academic, emotional, and social progress.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Help students with behaviour management, confidence building, and relationship development.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
