Job summary

Academics is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in a Windsor specialist secondary school. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support for learners with diverse needs, helping them build confidence and engagement in daily activities.

We are looking for caring, patient individuals who communicate well and are enthusiastic about SEN education, with a view to pursuing psychology, education, or therapy careers. Start ASAP, M-F, 8:30am-3:30pm, pay £93-£110 per day.

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable hands‑on experience supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist Secondary SEN School in Windsor is looking for a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, Teachers, or other education and psychology professionals looking to develop practical experience within a specialist setting.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with a range of special educational needs.
• Encourage students to develop their confidence, independence, and engagement with learning.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support students throughout the school day, observing and monitoring their progress, wellbeing, behaviour, and participation.
