About the Role:

We are a large, well-organised Secondary school in Redbridge seeking an experienced or newly qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. There is an option to train as an ELSA. Responsibilities include:

  1. Working inside and outside the classroom with individuals or groups
  2. Adapting support according to student needs
  3. Looking after children's physical, social, and emotional welfare
  4. Creating a stimulating environment
  5. Providing information and assistance to teachers
  6. Keeping records and attending review meetings
  7. Collaborating with professionals such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists
